SONAR / REDBULL STAGE
Design and art direction of the Red Bull stage within the context of Sonar Festival in Bogotá. The look and feel of the stage was based on the longitudinal waves that sound produces, making the structure react via elastic bands to the rhythm made by the artists.
The Problem
As one of the main sponsors for Sonar Festival in Bogota Colombia Red Bull wanted to create an experience that went beyond hearing music when it came to its sonar village stage.
The Solution
We built an interactive structure made out of synthetic fibers that moved along with the BPMs from each performer's set, creating the sense of a living framework for the audience.
