NIKE – RICHARD RÍOS: RIP THE SCRIPT
Richard Ríos doesn’t play by the script. He plays through contact, changes the rhythm, and brings the instinct of the street wherever the game takes him. For Rip the Script, we built a photoshoot around that attitude, capturing a player whose style comes from knowing the rules and knowing exactly when to break them.
The Problem
Richard’s game is physical, sharp, and unpredictable, but his identity goes beyond performance. The challenge was to create a visual language that could capture what makes him different: the confidence, style, and street instinct behind a player now performing on the world’s biggest stage.
The Solution
We turned Richard’s own codes into the visual language of the shoot. His signature nose strip became armor; a symbol of the contact he doesn’t avoid, but steps into while the imagery brought together football, street culture, and personal style. Rather than portraying Richard through the expected football narrative, we framed him as a player shaped by the street and ready for the biggest stage.
